Kingdream: a company built on IPR

The continuing growth of Kingdream is closely tied to its creation and protection of intellectual property rights and its establishment of a technology system that owns independent intellectual property rights to technology of a truly international standard.

Since 1987, the company has applied for 156 Chinese patents and now owns 110 valid patents, as well as 13 domestic and internationally authorized patents. It also has 25 US patents with full utilization rights. Its ownership of patents and its utilization rate of its proprietary technology is said to be far in excess of its peers in the sector.

As early as 1988, the company applied for and registered its "JZ Kingdream" trademark. In 1998, after it was listed on the stock market, the company applied for and registered five trademarks in 13 categories in China - "KINGDREAM", "K", JZ", "JIANGZUAN" and "JZJIANGZUAN". It also applied for and registered three trademarks - "KINGDREAM", "K", and "JZ" - in 26 countries and regions, including the United States, Canada, Iran, Russia and South Korea. This IPR initiative was designed to meet the needs for international development and to establish a number of internationally famous brands.
