Dad's debt burdens sisters

The daughters of a deceased cross-talk actor have been asked to repay 700,000 yuan in loans and interest owed to a bank by their father, the Beijing Evening News reported.

The two daughters of Hou Yaohua, who bought a village in the district and stopped paying loans and interest, were asked to pay the money, in Chaoyang district court. They women told the court that they did not inherit anything from their father, who died in June 2007, so they should not be responsible for the payment.
