Massacre toll now 57

A Philippine police official says five more bodies have been recovered from a third mass grave for victims of the country's worst election violence. The discovery raises the death toll from the carnage to 57.

Police said the five remains found yesterday were in addition to six bodies found earlier in the day in a large pit buried with three vehicles - the second mass grave discovered since Monday's attack on an election caravan.
