Unpaid worker swallows 20 sleeping pills, saved

A worker swallowed more than 20 sleeping pills after an apartment owner in Nanchang, Jiangxi province, refused to pay him 2,000 yuan ($294) for decorating the house.

Yao designed and furnished the man's house in July this year. However, after the job was done, the owner paid him 2,000 yuan less than what was agreed, saying the work wasn't completed on time.
