Guangzhou gallery: new models debuting at the 2009 motor show
Editor's note: Some 720 imported and domestic vehicles are on display at the motor show, with many making their global, Asian or China debuts. China Daily introduces seven new models to our readers:
1. BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo

The imported BMW 5 Series Gran Turismo, launched in China during the Guangzhou motor show, comes in two versions: 535i and 550i. The 550i Gran Turismo is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 twin turbocharged engine, which generates a maximum power of 300kW/5,500-6,400rpm and boasts a peak torque of 600Nm/1,750-4,500rpm. The 530i accelerates from zero to 100 km per hour in only 5.5 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km per hour. Its average fuel consumption is 11.2 liters per 100 km. The 530i Gran Turismo is equipped with a 3.0-liter, four-cylinder engine, producing a peak power of 225Kw/5,800rpm. Its maximum torque stands at 400Nm/1,200-5,000rpm. The 5 Series Gran Turismo retails between 886,000 yuan and 1,699,000 yuan. It is 4,998 mm long, 1,901 mm wide and 1,559 mm high. Its wheelbase is 3,070 mm long.
