Worker jailed for stealing cables to hit jackpot
Police in Tianjin municipality detained a migrant worker who allegedly stole cables from his construction site to buy lottery tickets last week.
The accused, surnamed Tian, 23, was caught red-handed stealing cables, after which he confessed he was addicted to playing the lottery and sold the cables to purchase tickets.
