Fixing 'fake' diplomas

Authorities in Hubei province are trying to work out a solution to address the issue of "fake" diplomas, an official with the provincial education bureau said yesterday.

At least 12,000 primary and middle teachers in the province feel cheated as the diplomas they earned from Hubei College of Education are recognized only within the province, not countrywide.
