Teacher ensures taxi driver gets forgotten fare

A teacher who realized she had forgotten her wallet at home after she got off a taxi at her school in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, asked her mother to go to the taxi company and pay off 1.5 yuan (22 cents) she owed the driver last Tuesday.

The taxi fare came to 6.5 yuan and Tang had only 5 yuan in her pocket. Even though the driver insisted he did not care for the remaining sum, Tang noted down his license plate number and promised him he will get the remaining 1.5 yuan before the day is over.
