Through Western eyes

The ongoing Imperial City Impression: Old Peking Images in Western Prints, at the Beijing World Art Museum, is the last exhibition of the Memories of China series.

More than 150 prints and maps and over 10 volumes of Western publications carrying reports on China, from the 17th to 19th century, are on display.

The Memories of China series is being held to celebrate the 60th birthday of the People's Republic of China.
