One night in Beijing
In traditional theatre in China, maqian meant fast or quick. The play, titled Maqian Maqian, is a fast-paced take on a fast-changing capital city, covering an amazing range of ordinary people's stories. The drama takes the audience on a time machine, shuttling across 3,000 years over one night.
