Senior loses vintage liquor at bargain price

An old man unwittingly sold two bottles of Maotai, known as one of the best Chinese liquors dated in the 1970s, to a wine peddler for a paltry sum of 1,600 yuan ($234).

The senior's son, Wang, collected the liquor up to six years ago when he traveled to Japan. Each bottle is now said to be worth at least 100,000 yuan.
