Monday death toll rises
Afghan officials said 14 civilians had been killed in a Taliban rocket attack on Monday in Kapisa province, northeast of Kabul, almost trebling the original toll. Another 38 civilians were wounded, Afghan army General Paikan Zamaray said. On Monday, Afghan police said five civilians had been killed and 28 wounded.
