Livestock given new lease of life in the wild

More than 100 people from Beijing and Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province, released 70 sheep and 30 yak into the wild in Pixian county of Sichuan province last Tuesday morning.

Letting livestock loose into nature is seen as an expression of love for the animals as well as a traditional practice for Tibetans to avoid disaster and accumulate virtue.
