Berlin meet produces record 16 new world marks

LAUSANNE: The two-day World Cup meeting in Berlin produced a new record for world records with 16 new best times set over two days, FINA said on Sunday.

On the first day of the German meeting, six new global marks were established, while Sunday's second day was highlighted by 10 more world records.

"Never before in the history of the FINA Swimming World Cup, was such a number of world records set in a single meet," said FINA.
