Promise to dying classmate held high

A university junior touched the hearts of many teachers and students when she kept a promise to look after the parent of a classmate who died 18 months ago in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province.

Cao Henglei, 21, a student from the life sciences faculty of Central China Normal University, always found time to spend more than 2 hours by bus to her "adopted" mother Zhou Li's home to chat, cook and do housework after her classmate Si Si died of cancer in May last year.
