Mountain hunt for 'killer'

A manhunt was launched yesterday after five people were murdered and two seriously injured in a killing spree in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, local authorities said.

The suspect surnamed Shi allegedly unleashed the attack on his girlfriend's family - who did not approve of his relationship with their daughter - after breaking into their home in Yamai village, said Jiang Xiangming, head of the Maonan autonomous county.
