GUANGZHOU: Every member country of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) will send a team to participate in the 16th Asian Games to be held in the city next year, despite the absence of two National Olympic Committee (NOC) representatives in a key seminar which concluded on Friday, an OCA official said yesterday.

The Chefs de Mission seminar is a milestone in the preparations for the upcoming event and was held in conjunction with the one-year countdown ceremony of the Games in Guangzhou.

Delegates representing NOCs from 43 countries within the OCA attended the three-day seminar, excepting Afghanistan and Lebanon.
