New road connects north

A road connecting the airport expressway with a second road to the international airport is expected to open at the end of next year.

Wenyuhe Road is intended to benefit residents in the north of the city, the Beijing News reported yesterday. The road, with a total length of 30.5 km, runs from the Beijing-Chengde expressway to Tongma Road. It passes close to Chaoyang Beilu, and is expected to assist 100,000 residents living in the Changying residential area in Chaoyang district.
