Freezing parents camp out at hospital for sick kids

A group of 30 parents of sick children are camping out in an underground car park stairwell of Beijing Children's Hospital because they cannot afford the expense of a hotel room.

The Beijing Daily reported that the hospital has told those parents to find accommodation and not to stay in the stairwell in the cold winter.

The parents have traveled to Beijing so their children can receive treatment at the hospital, but are sleeping in a stairwell linking the hospital and the underground car park because they are poor.
