Taiwan sculptor

Kang Muxiang, a veteran sculptor from Taiwan, is holding his first solo exhibition of wood sculptures on the mainland at Today Art Museum.

Born into a sculptor's family, Kang draws inspiration from his early experiences of living in fishing villages in Taiwan's coastal areas. Most recently, however, Kang has adopted a more symbolic approach to expressing his inner feelings.
