Automakers' profit up 33%
Chinese automakers boosted nine-month profit 33 percent to 78.8 billion yuan, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said in a statement on its website yesterday. The automakers reported combined revenue of more than 1.04 trillion yuan during the period, up 14.76 percent from a year earlier.
