36 killed by deadly virus

The A/H1N1 flu virus had killed 36 people and infected more than 62,800 on the Chinese mainland as of yesterday, the Health Ministry said.

It reported 3,393 confirmed A/H1N1 flu cases in the 48 hours ending 3 pm yesterday, the ministry said.

So far, nearly 75 percent of patients have recovered. Among the 285 with serious conditions, 54 have been cured, the ministry said.
