25 giant pandas bred
China has bred 25 giant pandas in 20 births so far this year, of which 18 are from Sichuan China Wolong Giant Panda Research Center, four from Chengdu Giant Panda Research Center and three from Shaanxi.
China has 290 captive pandas, according to the State Forestry Administration.
