Winds to disperse pollution

By Wang Wen | China Daily | Updated: 2009-11-09 07:44

Northern winds should today disperse pollution and the three-day-long fog, the weather office said yesterday.

"The fog will end today with the arrival of cold air from the north, and the temperature will start to drop," Sun Jisong, the chief weather forecaster with the Beijing meteorological bureau, told METRO yesterday.

Sun added that the temperature drop could last one week, bringing with it snow and rain until Wednesday.
