The central government has allocated relief funds totaling 8 million yuan ($1.17 million) for people affected by the magnitude 5 earthquake that shook Southwest Yunnan province on Nov 2, the Ministry of Finance said on Friday. The money will be used as financial aid to help resettle people displaced by the quake.
