Hot water supplies resume

Hot water will return to more than 1,600 households in a residential area in Xicheng district, after supplies were cut on Oct 27 due to disputes among developers, property managers, and owners, the Beijing News reported yesterday.

The property owners, who paid 12 yuan for a ton of hot water, said it was the second time that supplies had been cut in two years, because the hot water supplier failed to pay the gas company. The hot water supplier said owners owed the company 4 million yuan.
