Ruling on identity theft

Wang Zhengrong, a Hunan policeman who stole the identity of another girl for his own daughter to gain enrollment into a university in 2004, was jailed for two years by a local court in Hunan, according to the Xiaoxiang Morning Post.

Wang, who was sentenced to three years into jail with a five-year reprieve in 2007 for taking a bribe, this time received a four-year imprisonment sentence.
