Sports car rumors denied

Rumors had been widely spread on Internet forums that Shanghai police planned to introduce 10 Lamborghini Gallardo sports cars as police cars before the opening of Shanghai Expo.

Shanghai police denied the rumors yesterday, saying that this was not the first time such rumors have been spread and that they would never use sports cars such as the Gallardo as their police cars.
