Universities recruit together

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) will partner with Peking University (PKU) to recruit promising students from the Chinese mainland this year, according to the Beijing Youth Daily. High school students who attend an independent admission examination arranged by PKU are also eligible to apply for an interview with HKU which will consider their exam performance, according to Isabella Wong, director of the China Affairs Office in HKU. The HKU plans to recruit 250 to 300 mainland students this year.
