How to get a private pilot license

1. Read the private pilot license (PPL) regulations from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CCAC). Applicants must be at least 17 years old. Glider and free-balloon applicants must be at least 16 years old.

2. Pass the medical exams, including the tests for vision, blood pressure, hearing and anti-vertigo competence. Those who suffer from frequent headaches, stammering or chronic intestinal tract diseases will not pass.

3. After passing the physical exams, you can apply to an aviation school.
