Red letter days

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People's Republic of China and the 50th anniversary of the Chinese People's Revolutionary Military Museum, the museum has released two series of collections: the "Red Memory" stamp series and the "Chinese Parade" gold leaf picture series.

"Red Memory" is made up of a set of stamps based on 10 oil paintings collected by the museum, portraying 10 historical scenes in the making of the republic. "Chinese Parade" consists of a group of badges and gold leaf pictures with scenes of the parade held on the National Day of this year, with text explaining the weapons and 56 phalanxes at the parade.
