A group of environmentalists are discussing their views on eco-friendly architecture at an on-going exhibition of their ideas at the Beijing Center for the Arts.
MVRDV, an avant-garde architecture and urban design practice from the Netherlands, is well known for its philosophy of maximizing the density of architecture to allow the greatest possible area to be used as green space.
The trio of Winy Mass, Jacob Van Rijs and Nathalie de Vries, known for advocating buildings that grow vertically rather than horizontally, display a model of what they think a Chinese city should look like in 2020.
