Man confesses to jewelry store break-in

A man will stand trial for stealing jewelry worth more than 1 million yuan ($174,000) from a shop in Zhouning, Fujian province, using a duplicate key to open the showroom, early this month.

Xie Lin, the owner of the jewelry store, locked her shop and went home for two hours on Oct 4. When she returned, the door to her shop was open and a chunk of jewelry was missing.
