Medical center opens

The first international cardiovascular disease research center in Beijing opened at Anzhen Hospital on Tuesday. Anzhen Hospital will have leading technology, equipment and researchers and is funded by the central government and the Ministry of Science and Technology.

The center will focus on genetic research, early prevention, non-invasive diagnosis and clinical training programs.
