Man, 53, arrested for duping 16 women

Police in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, arrested a 53-year-old man who duped 16 women of some 400,000 yuan ($58,581), saying he could turn white paper into banknotes.

Liu Jianquan, a resident of Guizhou province, allegedly told each of the women he would marry them and took a large chunk of money from them between June and September.
