Overseas investment up

Investment by Chinese companies overseas rose 190 percent to $20.5 billion in the third quarter from a year earlier, the Ministry of Commerce said. This doesn't include financial investment, the statement said. Overseas investment by Chinese companies in the first nine months of the year rose 0.5 percent to $32.9 billion, the ministry said.
