Needle attacker confesses

A teacher has admitted to stabbing more than 20 toddlers in a kindergarten of Yunnan province. The 24-year-old teacher, Sun Qiqi, admitted that she stabbed the children with a syringe from Oct 21 to 23 because they were naughty and disobedient, a local police investigation found.

She has been detained for endangering public security. Sun, a nursing school graduate, said she bought the syringe at a pharmacy but denied the syringe contained sewage, as was alleged.
