Kidnapper shot dead
A man in Chongqing was shot dead by police after he refused to release a girl hostage yesterday morning.
According to the police, the 21-year-old man surnamed Zuo stabbed a woman about 8 am and then kidnapped her daughter. Police negotiated with him for more than two hours and finally had to shoot him to save the girl.
