Red ballet

The China Central Ballet will perform the classic Chinese ballet The Red Detachment of Women. Debuting in 1964, it is considered a milestone in the history of Chinese ballet for successfully combining folk dance with Western ballet. The performance will be accompanied by the chorus of the China National Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Company, under the baton of Lu Ju.
