In harmony with tradition

Dandeli Art Space invites three young musicians to tell stories about two traditional Chinese instruments, Chiba and Guqin, in between playing them.

Chiba, the end-blown bamboo flute, is one of China's earliest pipe instruments. It used to be one of the main instruments played by the imperial troupe during the Sui and Tang Dynasty.

Guqin, the earliest string instrument in China, has seven silk strings.
