Fish protest lands arrests
Eleven villagers who stormed a township government in Foshan, Guangdong province, have been detained, the local government said yesterday.
A protest by the villagers from Yongping village in Datang town over ownership of a fishing pool turned violent, with more than 100 breaking the front gate of the government complex.
