BOC's Zhu steps down

Bank of China (BOC) said late Monday that Zhu Min resigned as its vice-president on Oct 16. Zhu will become a deputy governor at the People's Bank of China, Bloomberg reported yesterday, citing a central bank spokeswoman. Sources said earlier that Zhu, 56, might be nominated by China to become a vice-president of the IMF after a stint with the central bank.
