Kurds released
Twenty-nine of the 34 suspected members of the outlawed Kurdish Workers' Party (PKK) who surrendered on Monday to the Turkish security forces in a reconciliation effort were released, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported yesterday.
Interrogation of the remaining five suspects continues, according to the report, and authorities have not decided whether to press charges.
