Yellow River Forum begins

The Yellow River Conservancy Commission under the Ministry of Water Resources yesterday launched the fourth annual International Yellow River Forum in Zhengzhou, capital of central China's Henan province.

Researchers and officials from 61 countries and international organizations like World Wild Fund for Nature and Global Water Partnership are attending the forum, which will last four days. With the theme of "Ecological Civilization and River Ethics," participants will discuss topics including the social and environmental impact of climate change, sustainable water resources management, scientific meanings of ecological civilization and key methodologies of river restoration.
