The Yangtze Three Gorge Water Control Project
The Yangtze Three Gorge Project is presently the largest hydropower project in the world. It is a key project in terms of controlling floods, generating power and transportation. Its total generation capacity is 18,200 mW for a single unit; whilst the annual average generation capacity is 84.68 billion kWh.
