Nabbed for court stabbing

Police in southwest China said yesterday they seized a man in connection with the fatal stabbing of a court police officer last week.

He Shengkai, 29, was apprehended in Zunyi city, Guizhou province, Sunday afternoon, four days after he was alleged to have forced his way into the city's Intermediate People's Court, killing one officer and injuring three others. He was sentenced at a junior court in Zunyi to two and a half years in jail in 2005 on charges of maliciously wounding other people.
