Wife of man in coma hoping for a miracle

A woman has not stepped out of her neighborhood in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, in more than three years to care for her husband, who has been in coma for three years.

Zhang Ruyou, 74, an army veteran, suffered from cerebral hemorrhage in 2006. His 64-year-old wife, Yang, also a retired soldier, has refused to give up hope even though doctors have told her Zhang may never wake up.
