Eriksson says no to DPR Korea World Cup offer

China Daily | Updated: 2009-10-16 08:06

LONDON: Sven-Goran Eriksson says he is committed to Notts County and is not preparing to coach North Korea at the World Cup.

North Korea have qualified for the finals for the first time since the 1966 tournament in England.

"I haven't had any offers and I have no plans to be manager, or whatever it is, of North Korea," Eriksson, the former England and Mexico coach, said on Wednesday as he left Notts County's ground.
