Power consumption up

China's power consumption saw a 10.24-percent year-on-year growth in September, indicating continuing recovery of the economy, the National Energy Administration said yesterday. Power consumption was 322.41 billion kWh last month, growing by 2 percent from August, said the agency. In the first nine months, China added 49.12 million kW in power capacity, it said.
