Seoul warned of conflict

The navy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) accused Republic of Korea (ROK) warships of intruding into its territorial waters, warning of a potential military conflict, the official KCNA news agency reported yesterday, citing a statement by the navy command. The statement said ROK had escalated military provocations in the West Sea of Korea since mid-September and warned that naval clashes may break out between the two sides, and asked the ROK to withdraw its navy immediately.
